Lordshill Baptist Church is a group of people whose lives have been changed by the power and goodness of God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Each of us can tell of a time when we were guilty of living in defiance of God. He was entitled to punish us, but instead He chose to do what we had no right to expect – to forgive us entirely, and bring about a complete change of attitude towards Himself. All of this is through Jesus Christ, His Son, who agreed to fulfil our obligations to God instead of us, and to bear the punishment that our offences deserved instead of us.

Our aim is to honour this true God who is made known to us in the Bible. We do so by:

• Meeting regularly for whole-hearted but respectful and humble worship, remembering that God is far superior to us in every way;
• Encouraging each other to grow in the knowledge of God, and to have complete confidence in His teaching and guidance in our lives;
• Trying to be the means through which God leads other people to trust in Jesus Christ, so as to be forgiven and accepted by God.
• Showing kindness, sympathy and help to people in need.
